Designed by Casey Keasler of Casework for her personal residence, affectionately called “The Ranchalow,” this kitchen is a hybrid, with some custom boxes and some Ikea boxes, fit with custom faces. Maple faces have a whitewashed finish and exposed apple-ply edges. The kitchen cabinets have integrated finger pulls, and midcentury floral cutouts speckle the adjacent mudroom, inspired by latticed concrete blocks on the home’s exterior. Solid maple shelves add accessible storage space by the stove and in the coffee nook.
